Qita3 ("قطع") is an online marketplace for car parts and car services in Qatar, operated by [Legal entity — to confirm] ("Qita3", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, apps, and related services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Qita3 is a marketplace that connects buyers with independent sellers of car parts and independent service providers; we are not the seller or provider of the items and services listed. Orders, deliveries, and services are fulfilled by the sellers and providers themselves, who are solely responsible for their listings, quality, and performance. Our role is to operate the Platform, help you discover and place orders, and support communication between users. We also host a jobs and "Talent" area that connects candidates with opportunities in the automotive sector.
To use the Platform you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of the State of Qatar. You are responsible for providing accurate account details, keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy from the relevant seller or to book a service from the relevant provider; the resulting contract of sale or service is between you and that seller or provider. At launch, payment is by cash on delivery only — you pay the seller or provider in cash when your order is delivered or the service is completed. Card payments (through Tap Payments) are planned for a later stage and are not available yet. Prices are shown in Qatari Riyals (QAR) unless stated otherwise.
Sellers and providers set their own prices and are responsible for keeping their listings, stock, and availability accurate; occasionally an item may be unavailable or a price may be shown in error. Some listings are offered as "quote on request", where the final price is confirmed by the seller or provider before you commit to buy. We may correct obvious errors and, together with the seller or provider, cancel or decline an order affected by a pricing or availability mistake. Delivery fees, lead times, and any warranty are set by the seller or provider and shown or confirmed before you order.
Sellers and providers must describe their parts and services accurately, hold the right to sell what they list, and comply with all applicable laws of the State of Qatar. They are responsible for fulfilling orders, arranging their own deliveries at launch, honoring any warranties they offer, and handling returns, refunds, or re-work in line with their stated policies. Counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, or misrepresented items are strictly prohibited. Qita3 may review listings and take action on accounts that breach these obligations.
You may post reviews, ratings, photos, and other content, provided it is honest, based on genuine experience, and does not break the law or these Terms. You keep ownership of your content but grant Qita3 a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use it to operate and promote the Platform. We may moderate, decline, or remove content that is false, abusive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate, though we do not routinely check everything users post.
You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose, including posting false listings, infringing others' rights, or dealing in prohibited goods. You must not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Platform, scrape or misuse data, upload malware, or interfere with other users. Misusing reviews, impersonating others, or circumventing our fees or safeguards is not permitted.
The Qita3 name, logo, Platform design, and software are owned by Qita3 or its licensors and are protected by law; you may not copy, modify, or use them without our permission. Content that sellers, providers, and users submit remains theirs, subject to the licence described in these Terms. We rely on trusted third-party providers to run the Platform — including Supabase, Sentry, Upstash, and Resend, and Tap Payments once card payments are enabled — and their trademarks belong to them.
The Platform is provided "as is", and because Qita3 is a marketplace intermediary, the quality, safety, legality, and fulfilment of parts and services are the responsibility of the seller or provider, not Qita3. We do not warrant that listings are accurate or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not a party to the contract between you and a seller or provider. To the fullest extent permitted by the law of the State of Qatar, Qita3 is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts, omissions, products, or services of sellers, providers, or other users. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove listings or content, if you breach these Terms, create risk or harm for others, or where we are required to do so by law. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give you notice, and any orders or obligations already in progress should still be honoured between the buyer and the seller or provider.
These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Platform are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction. If you have a problem with an order or service, please first contact the seller or provider, and you may also contact us so we can try to help resolve it. This does not affect any rights you may have as a consumer under Qatari law.
We may update these Terms from time to time as the Platform grows or the law changes — for example, when card payments through Tap Payments become available. If we make a significant change, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as posting a notice on the Platform or emailing you. Your continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
