Delete your Qita3 account

You can delete your account yourself in the app. The steps are:

1. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Tap the account button at the top of the screen (the circle with the first letter of your email address), then choose "My profile".
3. Scroll to "Delete your account" at the bottom of the page and tap "I want to delete my account".
4. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap "Delete my account permanently".

Deletion takes effect as soon as you confirm: you are signed out, you cannot sign in to the account again, and it cannot be undone.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

If you cannot sign in, or your account has been suspended, you cannot reach these steps. Use section 2 instead.

Email support@qita3.qa from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account".

Or send us a message through the contact form: choose "General question" as the topic and include the email address on your account.

We may need to confirm that the request comes from you first. Our team then deletes the account for you and replies to tell you when it is done.

• Your name, email address, phone number and date of birth are removed from your account. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Apple’s link to your account.
• Your saved vehicles, including their VIN, plate number, istimara number and istimara images.
• Your saved addresses, cart and favourites.
• Your notifications and the notification tokens for your devices.
• Your Talent profile, job posts and job applications.
• If you run a shop or a service business: its listings are taken down, and its phone number, location, logo and listing photos are removed.

Some records are kept because we need them for legal, accounting and tax purposes, or because they belong to a seller or service provider:

• Order records are kept. We remove your delivery address, phone number, order notes and VIN from them, but each order still shows the delivery city and, if it was for a particular vehicle, that vehicle’s make, model and year.
• Service bookings, quote requests and concierge requests are kept in the same way, with your name, contact details, vehicle details and location removed.
• Reviews you posted keep only their star rating; their text is removed.
• If our team prepared a request to sellers from one of your requests, it may still describe what was needed, the vehicle and the city, but it is no longer linked to your name or contact details.
• Alerts and emails we have already sent to sellers or service providers about your requests and bookings are not changed: those about a request may still show what was needed and the city, and those about a booking the name it was made under.
• A booking that a service provider recorded itself when you visited it in person is part of that provider’s records and is not changed.

• How long the records in section 4 are kept follows the legal, accounting, tax and dispute-resolution requirements that apply to us under Qatari law.
• Copies of transactional emails we have sent you, such as order confirmations and booking updates, are kept by our email provider, Resend, for up to 30 days and then deleted automatically.
• If you write to us, your message stays in our support mailbox for as long as we need it to handle your request and any follow-up.
